Comments are expected to be submitted for the call to implement and operate technological solutions for energy communities.
This process is part of the implementation of the National Energy Communities Strategy, which seeks to promote initiatives using Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Sources (NCRES) in areas with limited access to electric service, specifically benefiting families in socioeconomic strata 1, 2, and 3 of the National Interconnected System (SIN) and users in Non-Interconnected Zones (ZNI) of the country.
According to the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia, the call was published along with its respective explanatory memorandum, in compliance with current regulations.
The corresponding technical support for Inter-Administrative Agreement 2025 between the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) and the Grid Operators was also attached, in accordance with Article 8, numeral 8 of Law 1437 of 2011 and Article 2.1.2.1.14 of Decree 1081 of 2015, substituted by Decree 1273 of 2020, as well as Resolutions 4 0310 and 4 1304 of 2017.
The proposals received up until Wednesday, July 2, will be analyzed by the dependency in charge of the project, with the goal of incorporating any adjustments deemed pertinent.
